We were tasked with ‘modernising’ this home belonging to bob – a 90-year-old gentleman who had recently lost his wife. The home was full of her memory and belongings so we were careful to keep that alive while fulfilling the brief.

We painted throughout with a modern, neutral palette, updated door handles, cupboard handles, down lights, light fittings and curtains.
While bob wasn’t ready to change all the furnishings, we hand picked items to compliment what was existing.

The bedroom suite was the star of the show – changing out 2 single beds for a queen and updating the furniture to blend with the rest of the home. Surprisingly, bobs only concern once we were done was that there weren’t enough cushions. Who would have thought.
